Comerica Bank Names Rhonda Davenport Johnson Director of the Comerica Loan Center

Rhonda Davenport Johnson has been named Senior Vice President and Director of the Comerica Loan Center. The announcement was made by Michael J. Aust, Executive Vice President National Retail Administration.

As the Director of the Comerica Loan Center, Davenport will oversee all Comerica Loan Center operations for mortgage, home equity, consumer and small business loans generated through Comerica’s national operations, including more than 490 Banking Centers, Call Centers, Private Bankers, Private Mortgage Bankers and Business Bankers.

Davenport succeeds David Huiskens, who retired after 28 years with Comerica.

A 25-year veteran of Comerica, Davenport held positions of increasing responsibility in banking center management most recently as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Comerica’s Oakland region of Michigan banking centers. During her tenure with the bank, she also held positions in Business Banking, new business development, and operations.

Davenport holds a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA from Western Michigan University and is a graduate of the Consumers Bankers Association’s Graduate School of Retail Bank Management. 

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hospice of Michigan Foundation, where she is the incoming chair, and the Urban League of Detroit and Southeastern Michigan. She has also served in volunteer positions for the American Cancer Society, Garden City Hospital board of trustees, American Heart Association, United Negro College Fund, and United Way of Washtenaw County.
