A fireworks display will be shot off on Walled Lake Saturday night and residents will be able to view the show from the Novi side of the lake.

The fireworks are part of the "Let Freedom Ring" annual block party at Bayside Sports Grill at 142 East Walled Lake Road in Walled Lake. The block party begins at 4 p.m. Saturday and includes the following:

• Nine different bars
• Face painting
• Fire shows
• Moonwalks
• Mechanical bulls
• Pig roasts
• Outdoor entertainment tents
• DJs and bands

Tickets to the block party can be purchased online for a discounted amount of $10.

But if you don't want to head to the party on the north side of the lake, just pack a blanket to view the fireworks from Novi on the south side of the lake at Pavilion Shore Park (previously known as The Landings Park). The beach at Lakeshore Park will also be open to view the fireworks, but not for swimming.
