Novi Flashlight Egg Hunt Scheduled for March 22

Grab your coat and flashlight to hunt for Easter eggs on the Novi Civic Center grounds.

Novi's annual Flashlight Egg Hunt has been scheduled for Friday, March 22 from 7:30-9 p.m. The City of Novi Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department invites area children, ages 3-12, to bring a basket and flashlight to enjoy searching the Novi Civic Center lawn for goodie-filled eggs and prizes from Paradise Park, Novi Ice Arena, and Novi Youth Assistance.

Children can also enjoy indoor activities including an inflatable bouncer, pictures with the bunny, an activity station, popcorn and sno-cones. Biggby Coffee will be on-hand with warm treats and Macaroni Kid of Novi will delight children with a special craft.

The price, $8 for Novi residents and $10 for non-residents, is for each participating child. There is no charge for parents to attend and take pictures.

The hunt will be separated by age with 3- to 5-year-olds hunting at 7:45 p.m., 6- to 9-year-olds at 8:15 p.m., and those ages 10 and older at 8:40 p.m. In the case of inclement weather such as rain, the hunt will be held inside the Novi Civic Center at 45175 W. 10 Mile Road.

Registration is available now at cityofnovi.org or at the Novi Parks office located inside the Novi Civic Center. For more information, please call 248-347-0400.
