Novi Library to Have Teen Space Open House

Teen Extravaganza will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 12.

The City of Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department, together with the Novi Public Library, is excited to offer the inaugural TEEN EXTRAVAGANZA for those ages 14 through 18. The extravaganza will take place at the Novi Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 12 between 2 and 5 p.m. and will include games, relays, and team building activities.

Teen Space, a designated area at the Novi Public Library, was created through the partnership of the Novi Public Library, Novi Youth Assistance, City of Novi, and Novi Community Schools. The space offers students a place to socialize following the end of the school day. Since its inception in September of 2012, Teen Space participation has grown to host nearly 100 teens each week. The extravaganza will serve as an interactive open house and participants will
have the opportunity to explore all the activities available to them.

The Teen Extravaganza is free to all Novi teens and no registration is required. For more information regarding the event and to learn about other offerings for teens, visit cityofnovi.org.
