UPDATE: 153 Novi Residents Still Without Power
DTE Energy estimates power will be restored by 11:30 p.m.

There are still 153 DTE Energy customers in Novi without power.
Those without power are: 131 in the 48374 zip code, five in the 48375 zip code and 17 in the 48377 zip code.
According to DTE's estimates, power will be restored by 11:30 p.m.

A strong storm that carried high winds and lightning blew through Novi Wednesday evening, knocking out power for more than 200 DTE customers in the area.
According to the DTE Energy Outage Map online, 176 DTE customers in the 48374 zip code, eight in the 48375 zip code and 18 in the 48377 zip code were without power as of 1 a.m. Thursday.
Novi Patch reader Erica Karcher left a comment on Facebook about the outages.
"Ours only flickered here at 13 and Novi. Lost our satellite though! No t.v.!" she wrote.
As of 1 a.m. Thursday, DTE had not posted estimated restoration times for any of the outages. More than 70,000 customers were without power in metro Detroit.
