Novi Shows Its Holiday Spirit

Hundreds of area residents attended Novi's holiday event, Light Up the Night, on Friday evening at the Novi Civic Center.

The event, held indoors and out, included the lighting of the city's holiday tree, a speech from Mayor Bob Gatt and the introduction of Santa Claus to the crowd. Kids enjoyed Santa visits and photos, hay rides, marshmallow roasting, live reindeer, miniature train rides and free food samples from several local restaurants.
