Local Photographers' Work on Display in Civic Center

"Lightscapes and Cityscapes" will be on display in Novi through March 1.

The City of Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department is thrilled to host the work of Lynette Curtiss and Kim Kozlowski, local photographers, in the Civic Center Atrium Gallery through March 1. A free public opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 10 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in which the photographers will discuss their pieces and answer questions.

Kozlowski’s collection focuses on natural landforms while Curtiss’ collection focuses on manmade structures and buildings. This exhibit includes photographs from many local landmarks, including those in the City of Detroit, as well as iconic National Park images. To purchase any of the artwork in the exhibit, please contact the Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services office at 248-347-0400.

Upcoming exhibits in the Novi Civic Center Atrium Gallery include “Made in Michigan” a Cassell and Associates collective in March 2013 and the Novi High School Select Art Show in May 2013.
