Novi Youth are 'Addicted to Games … Not Drugs'

Kids in Novi will have fun Friday while supporting anti-drug initiatives in schools.

Registration is still open for the annual Addicted to Games … Not Drugs event Friday. Children can also register at the door at the same ticket price of $10.

The Novi Youth Council is partnering with the Novi Fire and Police Departments and Lucky Strike to present the annual Addicted to Games … Not Drugs event Friday, Jan. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon. 

Hosted by Lucky Strike, located in Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk, this event offers students in kindergarten through sixth grade access to all the games, bowling, interactive entertainment, food and soft drinks they can handle. The event is limited to the first 600 students to register, and proceeds will go towards anti-drug initiatives in Novi schools.

Tickets are $10 per student and include unlimited gaming, bowling and snacks. The permission slip is available online at cityofnovi.org and payment may be made at the City of Novi Clerks Counter, located at the Novi Civic Center, 45175 West Ten Mile Road. 

Members of the Novi Youth Council, Novi Fire and Police Departments, and Lucky Strike staff will be on hand to supervise the event. Parents are also encouraged to join the fun.
