Novi Schools Go Green with Online Flyers

Flyers are available online instead of getting sent home with students.

Students are typically sent home with folders full of flyers, which often have information that can be easily found online.

The Novi Community School District started a green initiative in the spring to reduce its carbon footprint. All flyers from nonprofit organizations are available for viewing online.

The idea is to cut costs, reduce paper in students' backpacks and lessen the labor and expense of the district's office staff.
