Gordon Food Service is hoping to open a marketplace location in Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk in Novi, according to an article in the Observer & Eccentric.
The article states that the City of Novi Planning Commission has approved the preliminary site plan for the 16,000-square-foot store.
According to the GFS website, the company has more than 150 marketplace locations in nine states. The marketplace stores offer both case and individual quantities of food.
The plan will now go before the City Council at a future meeting for final approval.
GFS also has nearby locations in Wixom, Farmington Hills, Livonia and Canton.
