'Hunger Games' DVD Release Parties To Be Held in Novi
Walmart and Blockbuster will hold parties on Friday night.
The Hunger Games DVD and Blu-Ray is released at midnight Friday.
If you want to celebrate the release of the DVD, Novi's and locations are both holding parties leading up to the release at midnight.
Starting at 9 p.m., Blockbuster's party will feature survival food, face painting, a screening of the movie, trivia contests with prizes, a self-defense demonstration, and an appearance by 98.7 AMP Radio. Fans who pre-ordered the movie will receive a free poster.

Starting at 11 p.m., Walmart's party will feature exclusive content airing in-store, movie trivia and themed food. Fans who purchase the DVD at midnight will also receive a special pack of collectible The Hunger Games trading cards, with random packs including autographed cards from one of the cast members including Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. This offer will be available while supplies last.
