Former Red Wing Nicklas Lidstrom's house at 47725 Bellagio Drive in Novi has been sold, according to Realtor John Goodman.
The house, which was built in 2004, was listed for $2.9 million, but Goodman said the house was not sold for the full listing price.
The home had been on the market for 21 days, according to AOL Real Estate.
Goodman could not release the name of the person who bought the house, who he said made a cash offer and is filling out the paperwork Tuesday.
Goodman said the sale was the highest sale in Bellagio, but could not release the purchase price.
The house in Bellagio is 6,956 square feet and is in the . It has five bedrooms with five full bathrooms and three half-bathrooms. The house has a four-car attached garage, tennis court and wine cellar.

Take a look inside the house by viewing the attached photos. What do you think of it?
I sure enjoyed watching him play he was not only a great player but a class act.Could there be a hint of jealousy in some comments?
Nothing personal against Mr. Lindstrom. My knowledge of hockey is nil. Other than recognizing the name I have no idea who he is, but I wish him all the best in his new home.
All that dark wood some how makes me think of Sweden. He may have been trying to bring back memories of his home overseas. As for selling it, I guess he will be scouting in Sweden.
I think what it reminded me of was when I went to Medieval Times in Orlando. He could be having some jousting and royal feasts in there.
The story cites the realtor who made the information public to sell the house. What did you expect them to do? Keep it a secret?
As far as privacy goes, some sellers do prefer to not include photos with public listings and this was not the case here. Many already knew what the Lidstrom family's house looked like from an NHL.com documentary series that detailed the life of Nicklas at home and on the rink.
Congrat's on the sale Nick!
It is no great shock when we in Michigan hear that someone didn't get the full price they were asking for in the sale of their home. LOL
I'm not gonna dispute what you are saying, but it just seems to me that you are kind of giving more life to that part of the story with your repeated comments about it. If it was me, and I was concerned about the ethics issue, and concerned about the publicity regarding the price, I would probably just report the real estate agent I felt was breaching the trust, but keep quiet about the price, and all the other stuff. By making a big fuss about it, more people actually see the info, and as you have said, that could hurt the very person you are trying to protect. But what the heck do I know, I am not a real estate agent...
And I like the Swedish/Medieval idea. I prefer darker woods in my own house. It does cost more for darker woods however, and thats probably why you don't see it more often.
I like the post below, only thing lacking is a jousting arena, has nothing to do with Hawkey......... just having a comment on the house........ I am sure he enjoyed it
