Novi Cheesecake Factory Takes Up 8K Square Feet

It's hard to imagine what The Cheesecake Factory in Novi will look like once it's complete.

Rest assured that construction is on schedule and The Cheesecake Factory at Twelve Oaks Mall will open by August 13.

The restaurant is opening in the former location of Tin Fish and will be a two-story 8,220 square foot structure, said Rich Carlson, G.B. Mannisto construction assistant superintendent.

"It's not the biggest one," he said. "It's about average."

But it's still pretty big.

The property, next to Nordstrom, opens onto the parking lot. Carlson said plans include a 1,250 square foot outdoor patio.

Blueprints for the exterior include elaborate designs with large windows, stone and decorative detailing.
