The LA Fitness located in closed on July 29.
According to a sign on the door, all current memberships were transferred to the LA Fitness location in Southfield on Telegraph and 12 Mile roads.
The club used to be a Bally until this past December, when LA Fitness absorbed all of the Bally clubs in Michigan, according to Crain's Detroit Business.

Multiple phone calls by Novi Patch to the LA Fitness corporate office were not returned.
Steve Russo, president of Russo Communications, which handles public relations for Novi Town Center, said not much is known about the gym's closing.

"LA Fitness informed the Town Center that they intended to close, and they have since done so," Russo said. "That's really all we know."
