- The Weather – Today will be beautiful: sunny with a high of 82 and a calm breeze, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 64, and tomorrow has a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high of 87.
- Gas Prices - The lowest reported gasoline price in the Novi area as of late Wednesday is $3.59 at the Marathon on W. 10 Mile and Meadowbrook roads, according to DetroitGasPrices.com.
- Board of Education meeting – The Board of Education will pass its 2011-2012 budget at its meeting tonight at 7 in the Educational Services Building.
- Youth Police & Fire Academy – The deadline to apply to the is tomorrow, July 1. The Academy runs from July 18-22 from noon to 4 p.m. and consists of classroom instruction as well as hands-on practice.
- Fountain Walk concert – 12 Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk's Summer Sidewalk Series continues tonight from 5-8 p.m., which features live music and an art fair by local artists in the center courtyard. Bring your own chair!
