1. The weather

Today will be cloudy and windy with a high of 43 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Rain and a snow showers are likely after 10 a.m., with little to no snow accumulation. Winds will be at 11-13 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Tonight there is a slight chance of rain and snow showers before 1 a.m. It will also be cloudy with a low of 30 degrees.

2. Gas prices

According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the Novi area as of Tuesday night was $3.44 per gallon at the Speedway on Pontiac Trial and Beck Road.

3.  Power out for some in Novi

More than 300 Novi customers lost power last night, according to the DTE Energy Outage Map. DTE Energy has no estimates as to when power will be restored. Are you still in the dark today? 

4. Garth Stein at the library

Garth Stein, author of The Art of Racing in the Rain, will be at the tonight at 7 to discuss his book for the area's . But if you haven't registered to go, you're out of luck. The event is already full.
