Who's excited for Thanksgiving?

1. The weather

Today will be mostly sunny with a high of 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Winds will be at 8-14 mph. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low of 32 degrees.

2. Gas prices

According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the Novi area as of Tuesday night was $3.15 per gallon at the  Speedway on Haggerty and 8 Mile roads.

3. Novi Road opens today!

Novi Road between 10 Mile Road and Grand River Avenue officially reopens today with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. After six months of taking detours, all I have to say is...hooray!

4. Plan ahead: Catholic Central in football finals

5. Plan ahead: Places closed on Thanksgiving

The Novi , and recycling center will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. The will also be closed Thursday but will reopen Friday.
