Photos: Fans Attend Final Harry Potter Film at Emagine Novi

Hundreds of fans came out to Emagine Theater—some dressed as wizards and witches—to celebrate the end of a decade of magic Thursday night.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was screened in all 18 theaters at early Friday morning, marking the end of more than a decade of Harry Potter films.

Fans came from all over the area, and some began waiting in the theater lobby at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon to make sure they got the perfect seat. Some passed the time by reading previous books from the Harry Potter series, while others pulled out a deck of cards.

For many, the ending of the Harry Potter series left people with mixed feelings. Some fans felt very anxious to see the final film; others said that they were sad because it shut the door on a childhood adventure.
