Ready for Thanksgiving? 5 Places to Grab a Bite

Feeling a bit peckish? Need a caffeinated pick-me-up? Consider a stop at any of these eateries and coffee shops that are open on Turkey Day.

Dining-out options aren't exactly plentiful on Thanksgiving, but there are definitely places to grab a quick bite. Here are some choices for you if you're on the road and need a pick-me-up on Thursday, or if you're simply opting not to cook, host or deal with all the planning frenzy.

Denny's Restaurant

27750 Novi Road
248-348-3370
www.dennys.com
Denny's will be open all day, sticking to its 24-hour schedule, so whether you need something at 4 a.m. or 4 p.m. or a late-night pick-me-up, there you go.

Boston Market

43363 Crescent Blvd.
248-449-6311

Now you're (not) cooking. Stop at Boston Market for sides, main dishes and sweets and forget about dishes and all the hassle. They're open from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Be advised: It's better to pick up dinner earlier than later.

Coffee fiends will be grateful that Starbucks is open much of the day, perfect for giving thanks for that Pumpkin Spice or Eggnog latte, or for that jolt of potent brew to get you through all the celebrating.
