Why Go: Head to downtown Northville for the First Friday Experience with art, demonstrations and treats. Be sure to stop at the Northville Art House's opening reception for its Holiday Art Market. Now in its seventh year, patrons can look for unique items crafted by area artists — think jewelry, printmaking, photographs, paintings, glass, mosaics and more. A used book sale will be going on downstairs to benefit Friends of the Northville Library and the Northville Art House.

Where: City of Novi Civic Center
When: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday
Pricing: $12 for children and seniors, $15 for adults
Why Go: Get ready for a magic carpet ride as the Novi Civic Theatre presents Disney's Aladdin Jr., featuring beloved characters such as Aladdin, Jasmine and the Genie and popular songs such as "A Whole New World" brought to life on stage by 35 talented local youngsters.

Where: Andiamo Novi Theatre
When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 6 p.m. Sunday (show runs through Nov. 27)
Cost: $15 for individuals on Thursdays and Sundays and $20 Fridays and Saturdays. Or get a dinner and show package for two for $49.95 Thursdays and Sundays, or $59.95 Fridays and Saturdays.
Why Go: Andiamo presents a new show, Five Course Love, featuring three local actors playing 15 different parts in a show peppered with songs and humor. The premise is simple: five dates, five different restaurants, and all are hungry for love.

Where: Toll Brothers Model Home, 17174 Crestbrook Drive (in the Steeplechase subdivision), Northville
When: 6 p.m. Sunday
Pricing: $20 in advance, $25 at the door
Why Go: Enjoy an evening of hors d'oeuvres, wine, desserts, music, and silent and live auctions in support of raising awareness of and eradicating childhood cancer. The event is the work of Christoph's ALL Stars, a Northville-based nonprofit born of hope and survival.

Snowmobile USA: Three days three days of snowmobiles, equipment, services and more, 5-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, at . $10 for ages 12+, free for 11 and younger, $5 parking.
Encounters with Art opening reception, 6-8 p.m. today, featuring the work of four area artists unveiled at the , on display thorugh Nov. 27.
Maybury Farm Corn Maze, visit and enjoy animals, playground time and the corn maze, the final weekend this year, 1-10 p.m. Saturday and 1-7 p.m. Sunday at ,, $8.
