Youth Theater Group Plans Shows, Programs in Novi

Sky's the Limit doubles its summer camps and musical theater programs by reaching out to new communities.

Sky’s the Limit Productions, a Farmington Hills-based youth theater company, has announced plans to expand its summer camps and musical theater programs to Novi.

Additional productions are planned at The Berman Center For The Performing Arts and Two Muses Theatre in West Bloomfield.

Sky's the Limit has since 2002 offered theater productions, camps and classes to hone the skills of young actors in southeast Michigan. This year, a new Master’s session has been added for students looking to find out more about the theatre business, and a Starlets Summer Camp has been added for 4- and 5-year-olds.

More than 3,000 young people have had acting opportunities in more than 25 large scale musicals seen by more than 25,000 audience members at the Berman Theatre for the Performing arts, the Farmington Hills Youth Theatre, and area middle and high schools.

“My younger daughter would get involved, I got involved ... but at the end of the day ... Sky's the Limit changed my family, it brought us closer together! It is an amazing group of people that started as strangers and have become family," Farmington Hills parent Mike Atler said.
