ELDER
LAW ATTORNEY  LISA BEATTY TO PRESENT FREE
SEMINARS FOR SENIORS, 7/28 & 7/30 ON “ESTATE PLANNING: DEATH & TAXES “
AT NOVI PUBLIC LIBRARY.

NOVI,
MI.__
Elder
law attorney Lisa H. Beatty of the Brighton, MI firm Nawrocki Center for Elder
Law, Special Needs & Disability Planning, PLLC, will host a free Seminar
entitled “Estate Planning: Death & Taxes”  for Senior Citizens and their families 10:30
am, Monday, July 28, 2014 and again at 6:30 pm, Wed,  July 30, 2014 at the Novi Public Library 45175 W.
10 Mile Road, Novi, MI.

The Seminars are free but an RSVP is encouraged due to space
limitations by calling 866-737-5007 or by going to the website www.nawrockilaw
.com.

Beatty, a 15 year veteran attorney who previously served with the
United Auto Workers (UAW) Legal Services, said the seminars are designed to
educate and enlighten seniors and their families about Estate Planning.

“If a person should die without proper planning, their estate would
go to Michigan Probate Court which is time consuming, costly and removes any
privacy from their holdings,” Beatty said.

“Consumers don’t realize that estate tax laws change, and it is
important to stay up  with the times,”
Beatty said. “Our seminars are designed to educate consumers so they can make
the right decision in planning for their future and for their families and
heirs.”

Beatty is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Detroit
College of Law at Michigan State University. She has served as adjunct professor
at Thomas Cooley Law School, Lansing, MI.

She is active in a variety of civic affairs including the Redford
Civic Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham Bloomfield Symphony and the Hartland,
MI Area Community  Council.
