Just hours afterwards, Griffin, whose birthday also fell on Monday, was located by local authorities in Colorado at a pawn shop and taken in without incident at 4:30 p.m., according to the Sheriff's Office. Local authorities told them that Griffin was in possession of numerous jewelry items.

"I can’t think of a better birthday present to give this lowlife who had been violating families in their time of grieving," Bouchard said in a statement.
