Novi Man's Stereo, GPS Stolen from Car

The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

A Novi man’s 2012 Chrysler 200 was damaged and parts were stolen 8:01 a.m. Dec. 18 at DoubleTree Hotel, 42100 Crescent Blvd., according to a Novi Police report.

The man said he is an employee of DoubleTree Hotel where he parked his vehicle in the lot at about 11:50 p.m. Dec. 17, the report said.  The man came to the vehicle at 8 a.m. Dec. 18 and saw that somebody had smashed the rear driver’s side window of the vehicle and the factory installed stereo/navigation system was stolen, according to the report.

There was nothing else missing from the vehicle and no other cars in the lot were damaged, the report said.

Novi Man's Car Window Smashed with Brick

A Novi man’s 2001 Chevrolet was damaged 10:31 p.m. Dec. 18 on Cranbrooke Drive, according to a police report.

The responding officer met with the vehicle owner's son who said it was parked in front of the home, the report said. The vehicle had its driver’s side window smashed and a large landscaping brick on the front seat, according to the report, and there was no property missing from the vehicle.
