Police Search for Suspects who Stole GPS, Cash from Novi Woman's Car

The following information was supplied by Novi police.

Novi police suspect five men stole a GPS and cash from a car on June 1 outside of a Novi home, according to a police report.

A neighbor was returning to his home on Village Wood Lane and noticed four men standing near his neighbor’s car, the report said. They ran toward Haggerty Road when they saw him, according to the report. The man then noticed one of the suspects sitting in the front seat with the car running, the report said. He ran when he noticed the man, who chased him, but went back to tell his neighbor, according to the report.

The woman said that she left her car unlocked and there was a spare set of keys in the center console, the report said. She said that a Garmin GPS and $35 in cash were missing, according to the report.
