Several Novi Properties Vandalized With Spray Paint

The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

At a house on Thirteen Mile Road, the homeowner reported that someone had spray painted graffiti on the home, which he had recently purchased, according to a police report. The damage was done sometime between June 26 at 6 p.m. and June 27 at 9:30 a.m., according to a police report. The spray-painting was of upside down crosses, the numbers 666 and the letters OFWGK, the report said. The officer searched the letters on the Internet and found they meant Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, which is the name of a rap group.

The house backs up to the Oakland Glens trailer park, and there is an opening in the backyard the suspects may have used to enter the property, the report said. There are no suspects and the case is closed pending additional information, the report said.

Graffiti was also found on the City Water Pump building at 30940 Novi Road on July 2 at 9:30 a.m., according to a police report.  Black spray paint was used to spell out GOLF WANG, and other random letters and symbols including upside down crosses, the report said. The case has now been closed.
