Several Residents Report Tires Punctured; Underage Party Busted
The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
Four Novi residents reported their car tires were punctured between Aug. 2-4, according to police reports.
A man reported that someone punctured the two driver’s side tires on his car sometime during the night of Aug.2-3, according to a police report. The car was at his residence on Park Ridge Road, and there are no suspects or witnesses, the report said.
Another resident of Park Ridge Road also had the driver’s side tires on his car slashed that night, according to a police report. A small hole was found in the side of one tire, and it appeared it was made by an icepick or awl, the report said.

A third report was made of tires being punctured that same night. A woman reported that her daughter drove the car to her friend’s house on Hollydale late on Aug. 3 and she stayed overnight, the report said. The daughter returned home and told her dad that the driver’s side tires were deflated, the report said. The woman said she heard there were several similar reports made, so she wanted to make a report.
A man also reported the driver’s side tires of his car were damaged on W. Le Bost Street the following night, Aug. 3-4, according to a police report. The owner was in Texas, but his neighbor called him to report that the tires were flat, the report said.

Underage party busted
Novi police received a tip of an underage party on W. Le Bost Drive on Aug. 2, according to a police report. Police arrived at the house at 12:45 a.m. to find teens inside the house and on the back deck drinking, the report said. Fifteen teens said they were not drinking, and they all got a 0 on the Breathalyzer, the report said. Eight other teens admitted to drinking and were asked to take a Breathalyzer; they were all arrested for a minor in possession in alcohol, the report said. The teen who lives in the house, a 17-year-old girl, was arrested for an MIP and for hosting an open house party, the report said.
