Thief Thwarted From Stealing Car Tires
The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department.
Twenty lugnuts were stolen from a 2013 rental Malibu on Nov. 29 while it was parked outside of the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Novi Road, according to a Novi police report.
According to the report, someone was probably trying to steal the wheels and tires, but the suspect must have been scared off before completing the theft. The crime occurred sometime between 1-6 a.m.
There are no suspects or witnesses to the crime, the report said.
