Santorum Speaks to Followers in Novi

The former Republican presidential candidate said he's open to another run for the presidency.

Rick Santorum spoke at an event at Lucky Strike Lanes in Novi on Friday, according to an article by The Detroit News.

According to the article, Santorum was speaking at an event for the Michigan chapter of Patriot Voices—a grassroots organization that he started.

The Patriot Voices website says the group aims to affect change and is committed to promoting faith, family, freedom and opportunity.

Santorum tweeted on Friday saying, "Great event w @Patriot_Voices in MI today."

At the event on Friday, Santorum said he hasn't said no to another run for president. He was in the run to be the Republican candidate this past election.

"I'm certainly open to it," Santorum told The Detroit News.

Santorum also spoke later that day at a school fundraiser in Troy.
