Novi Library hosts How to Invest In A Complex & Agenda-driven World

This distinctive ’how to’ presentation brings plain-English instruction on the principles, process, tools and tactics used to structure a purposeful and well-diversified portfolio that takes into account current economic conditions, market trends, interest rates, the credit cycle, political agendas, legislation and corporate sustainability initiatives. This course concludes with attendees participating in structuring a ‘real world’ portfolio based upon a specific set of criteria.

Financial-related cable shows provide lively discussion and commentary on the markets and the internet provides a variety of websites for analyzing and selecting securities.  But neither adequately answers the single most important question of investors: “How do I go about structuring a
portfolio that increases the probability of me meeting my long-term investment objective?”  This experiential-based workshop offers the most effective format for learning and retaining knowledge and was developed in direct response to requests from consumers across Michigan for a practical ‘how-to’ follow-up to the highly-successful entry-level Investor Education In Your Community sessions.
