Novi Hires 27 New Teachers

Novi has hired 27 new teachers. Eight of them will be replacing teachers who have retired, and a few are filling in while some teachers take a leave of absence.

But the majority of the hires were due to unexpected growth late in the summer, said Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Bonnie Lobert. Positions were also added to Novi High School to reduce class sizes, she said.
