Novi Middle School Needs Career Day Speakers

The Novi Middle School staff and PTO are seeking community members to speak at career day on Wednesday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The goal of Career Day is to provide the students with an opportunity to explore innovative and relevant careers that will help them take the first steps toward future career planning.

Guest speakers will talk to small groups of students for 20-30 minute sessions. Some potential speaking topics include related school subjects, education and training, personal skills, and what a typical work day is like. Formal presentations, hands-on activities, or visuals can be used during presentations.

The school prefers speakers to be there the entire time, but accommodations can be made if speakers can only stay for a partial day. Novi Middle School can also provide a written Donation of Time document for presenters to return to their employers.
