Novi School District Asks for Your Feedback

Learn about the district's plans and share your thoughts on how it can improve.

The Novi Community School District has an impressive reputation for its strong academics, in the form of high-achieving students, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses and test scores.

The district wants to hear from the community — that means you — on what it can do to sustain and continue to create excellence. The newly formed Sustaining Excellence Committee started discussing the future of the school district and is reviewing buildings and programs to identify the district's needs and directions for the future.

"The goal of this committee is to ensure that our district continues to be one of the premier school districts in the state and nation," Superintendent Steve Matthews said in an email across the district.

Everyone is invited to participate in a community meeting to discuss where the Novi Community School District is headed. Those interested can attend one of the following meetings:

  • Jan. 23: 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Educational Services Building
  • Jan. 27: 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Educational Services Building
  • Jan. 27: 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Educational Services Building
