Novi Schools Closed Tuesday for Sub-Zero Wind Chills

Wind chills may get as low as -35 degrees Tuesday morning.

Novi Community Schools will be closed Tuesday due to the freezing temperatures.

Southeast Michigan is under a wind chill advisory through Wednesday morning, with real-feel temperatures plunging to 30-35 degrees below zero.

No decision has yet been made for Wednesday, Superintendent Steve M. Matthews said in an email. This is the fourth snow day for Novi Community Schools since the start of 2014.

Walled Lake Schools and Northville Public Schools, where Novi residents also attend, are closed Tuesday as well.

Check back with Novi Patch as more information is released.
