Saving for College? Experts Will Answer Questions March 26 and 27

Learn more about Michigan Education Trust and Michigan Education Savings Program at the Novi Public Library.

College savings experts from Michigan Education Trust (MET) and Michigan Education Savings Program (MESP) will be available at the Novi Public Library March 26 and 27, 3 p.m.-8 p.m., to answer questions and help parents, grandparents and others through the process of purchasing a MET contract or opening a MESP account.

MET is Michigan's Section 529 prepaid tuition program that locks future tuition at any of the State’s public universities and colleges, at today’s rates.

MESP is Michigan’s direct sold Section 529 college savings plan, which offers Michigan taxpayers a Michigan income tax deduction on contributions and potential tax-free growth on any earnings if account proceeds are used to pay for qualified higher education expenses.
