She said life after the Olympics, where she won a gold medal with the U.S. women's gymnastics team, has been pretty busy.

Wieber did not have her gold medal with her in Novi, which she said she usually keeps hidden in her house in fear of it being stolen. But said she will take it out and put it on display if they have visitors over.

"I'm speechless," Morgan said. "She's just very strong and she inspires me."

Eleven-year-old Victoria Nigoghosian, her sister and their friends were all bouncing with excitement while waiting to meet Wieber.

"I wanted to explode!" Victoria said.

Wieber said she loves having young girls look up to her.
