Lauren Hosko, #56: Always Been the Underdogs

Hosko's son, Alex, is a junior offensive/defensive lineman on the Catholic Central varsity football team.

Detroit Catholic Central High School students and alumni love the school, and the football parents love and support their Shamrocks. While the team played on the field, Patch went into the stands to tell the stories of the parents who help make everything possible.

Name: Lauren Hosko

Hometown: Plymouth

How the Hosko family spent the night before the game: Spray-painting two different large, blue banners with encouraging words for the Shamrocks.

Highlight of the season: "Every playoff win, because we've been the underdog in every one. This team has really come a long way and they've proven to us and themselves that dedication and appreciation for your work can really pay off."
