Novi Athletic Boosters Gives Middle School $5,000

The funds will benefit athletic teams at Novi Middle School.

The Novi Athletic Boosters showed its dedication to younger Wildcats last week by rolling out the welcome mat to their parents and providing a significant gift to middle school sports. During a meeting Feb. 8 at , Boosters board members offered a presentation on the club's vision and invited parents and other Novi fans to become involved.  

As an evening highlight, NAB President Jay Dooley presented a $5,000 check to Athletic Director Christian Wilson and middle school Principal Stephanie Schriner. The funds will benefit the middle school athletic teams.

"This generous contribution means so much to our school and our students," Schriner said.  

"Most of the athletes who participate at the high school get their start at the middle school, and the Athletic Boosters understand the financial responsibility that those programs require and are more than willing to help pay for expenditures that create successful programs," Wilson said.
