The Novi varsity girls basketball team won a tough game against South Lyon Tuesday with a score of 44 to 33.
Sophomore guard Kerri McMahan led the Cats in scoring with 13 points, followed closely by Ally D'Annibale with 9 and Anna Lausch with 8. Also scoring for Novi were Jade Antolec and Abby Chandler with 4 points each, and Abby Robinson, Taylor Pavlika and Sam Pavlika all with 2 points.

Emily Slavik had 11 points for South Lyon in a losing effort.
Novi, now 10-3, hits the court again Friday when they look to avenge a loss from earlier this season against Northville. Tip off will be at 7 p.m. at home.
