Wildcats vs. Mustangs: The Rivals Play This Week
The Novi vs. Northville game is a candidate for WDIV Local 4's Friday Football Frenzy Game of the Week.
The Novi High School varsity football team will take on Northville High School Friday.
The Wildcats and the Mustangs had their homecoming games last week. The Wildcats defeated Livonia's Stevenson High School, 15 to 13, bringing their total to four wins and two losses this season. The Mustangs defeated South Lyon East High School, 48 to 30, giving them five consecutive wins and one loss so far this season.
The game, 7 p.m. Friday at Novi High School, is a candidate for WDIV Local 4's Friday Football Frenzy Game of the Week. Fans get to vote between:
- Canton at Plymouth
- South Lyon High at South Lyon East
- Livonia Churchill at Livonia Franklin
- Northville at Novi
As of Monday evening, the Northville at Novi game had 44 percent of the votes in second place behind the South Lyon High at South Lyon East game, which was leading with 55 percent.
