Novi's Catholic Central Defeats Northville in Playoff Opener

Novi's Detroit Catholic Central varsity football team beat Northville High School, 35 to 14, in the first round of the Division 1 playoffs Friday.

“I was really happy with the way this team performed,” Catholic Central coach Thomas Mach told MLive.com. “Preparation is one thing, but executing on the field is another. I thought we did a great job of doing that.”
