Novi Library's Summer Reading Program Begins Monday

The library has programs for youths, teens and adults.

The 's summer reading program begins Monday and runs through Aug. 4.

Youth can stop by the library or go online to sign up for the program for their age group:

  • “Read to Me” for children under kindergarten age
  • “Dream Big” for children going into grades K-4
  • "Own the Night" for youth in grades 5-12

Youth will keep track of the time they spend reading online, and they will receive prizes after reading for a set number of hours for their age group.

Teen volunteers will be at the library to assist with registration and to give out prizes.

Adults can also participate in the program and will receive a gift card for reading any three books of their choosing this summer.

Several activities have also been organized for the summer reading program, following the theme of "Dream Big." All programs are free.
