Patch blogger Chris Harpenau's twin girls in first grade at Parkview Elementary recently had the opportunity to get picked up and take a ride in a Novi fire truck from home to school.  This was an auction item that he and his wife and I bid won at the Green Gala in March benefiting the Novi Educational Foundation.

Freegal (free and legal) is a downloadable music service that offers thousands of songs from the entire Sony Music catalog in a variety of genres, and is now offered to patrons at Novi Public Library.
