Motor City ComicCon and More This Weekend

1. Motor City ComicCon 2013

• When: May 17, 18 and 19
• Where: Surburan Collection Showplace
• What: Super heroes, sci-fi creatures, wrestlers, comic stars, artists and celebrities will be invading metro Detroit during the 24 annual Motor City Comic Con. This year, the event brings together an unmatched roster of fan favorites from the world of TV and film, wrestling, and comic world talent including iconic comic legend, Stan Lee.

2. Novi Skate Jams

• When: Saturday, May 18 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Where: Novi Ice Area
• What: Novi Ice Arena hosts open ice skating complete with a live DJ and special lights! Admission is $7 and skate rental is available for $3.

3. Spring Perennial Exchange

• When: Saturday, May 18 at 9 a.m.
• Where: Fuerst Park 
• What: Divide your crowded perennials, such as daylilies and hostas, and bring them to exchange for the plants you have always wanted. This is a great way to grow and diversify your garden and enhance your landscape, free of charge.
