1. Art Walk in Novi
When: 1 to 3:30 p.m. SaturdayWhere: Villa Barr Park in Novi
What: Attendees will meet in the Novi Civic Center Council Chambers to enjoy light refreshments and a video about renowned artist David Barr and his pieces. Transportation will be provided to (and from) the park for this self-guided tour taking place among stunning fall foliage. Although free, registration is required and space is limited.
2. Hollywood Nights 24-Hour Movie Marathon
When: 10 a.m. FridayWhere: Emagine Theater - Novi: 44425 West Twelve Mile Road
What: The mission of Hollywood Nights Movie Marathon is to create a unique fundraising event that will bring together film enthusiasts and supporters of Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan who would like to enjoy a great movie watching experience while raising money and awareness to benefit children and adults affected by leukemia, lymphoma and other blood related cancers.
3. Run Bounce Bark Body Burn 5K
When: 9 a.m. SundayWhere: Fuerst Park in Novi (corner of Ten Mile and Taft roads)
What: Join Body Burn Fit Club at Fuerst Park in Novi to raise money for two great charities! Almost Home Animal Shelter is a truly No Kill animal shelter and Mid Michigan Boxer Rescue rescues, rehabilitates and find the best match for the
adoption of Boxers. You can participate in this 5K by running, walking or using your Kangoo Jumps and 100% of the profits will go to our two animal charities.
4. Boogah & Hoogah's Haunted House Party!
When: 2 p.m. SaturdayWhere: Walled Lake Western High School Performing Arts Center, 600 Beck Road in Walled Lake
What: Children's Theatre of Michigan and Walled Lake Schools present this Enchanting, All-Ages Musical-Story-Theatre show onstage at Walled Lake Western.
5. Performances This Week at Big Tommy's
When: Friday to SaturdayWhere: 40380 Grand River Ave. in Novi
What: Comedians Frank G and Dan Simon performing! 8:00pm and 10:30pm. $13 admission or ask about our dinner/show package for $25 available for our 10:30pm show. Call for reservations 248-957-6500.
