Brightmoor Christian Church (formerly Brightmoor Tabernacle) is located on 13 Mile Road near the M-5 freeway. Led by pastor Jamie Kjos, the church is a member of the Assemblies of God fellowship of churches based in Springfield, Missouri. The Assemblies of God is one of several church groups that form the Pentecostal movement.

Brightmoor Christian Church has ministries for children, students and adults, and many different ways to get involved, including active music and drama teams. Franklin Road Christian School (pre-K through 12 co-ed, non-denominational, college preparatory day school) and the Train Station Preschool are both located in the Brightmoor complex.
