Catholic Central High School originated in Detroit in 1928. It was founded by Monsignor Van Antwerp, the Vicar General of the Detroit Diocese. It is located on the west side of Wixom Road between Grand River Avenue and 10 Mile Road. It is a private, all-boys school, which is know for its strong commitment to academics, as well as its extra-curricular offerings. Its athletic programs are highly rated, as well as its art and music programs.
