Novi United Methodist Church prides itself on diversity, so the church is open to all people, without regard to nationality, race, sexual orientation nor religion.

Its pastor is Rev. June Marshall Smith. Tim Schoenherr serves as music director, accompanist and choir director. As part of its mission, the church sponsors different groups such as United Methodist Men, United Methodist Women, Sharing and Caring Women's Group, and United Methodist Jr/Sr High Youth Group. The Novi Rotary meets at the church weekly for its Thursday afternoon lunch meeting. An Alcoholics Anonymous meeting takes place every noon on weekdays, regardless of holidays. The church also sponsors the Boy Scouts, hosting Troop 54, and the Cub Scouts, Pack 746.
