A posting on the Black Rock Facebook page says, "We are receiving many resumes in the mail and on line and are starting the interviewing process this week." Northville residents Mark and Jordan Dick hope to "surprise and delight" customers at the new JD Racing in Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk.
Go-karting isn't just for kids anymore. At the new JD Racing Indoor Karting in Novi, adults can get in the driver's seat to experience a fast-paced race on a challenging track. Father and son Mark and Jordan Dick, of Northville, recently opened the business in Fountain Walk and have geared it toward adults and young adults. "People walk in and they think it's either a fun park or an amusement park," Mark Dick said. "Then they look around and think, 'Wow, it's not what I expected,' but in a good way. GFS is looking to open a marketplace in Fountain Walk.
Gordon Food Service is hoping to open a marketplace location in Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk in Novi, according to an article in the Observer & Eccentric. The article states that the City of Novi Planning Commission has approved the preliminary site plan for the 16,000-square-foot store. According to the GFS website, the company has more than 150 marketplace locations in nine states. The marketplace stores offer both case and individual quantities of food. The plan will now go before the City Council at a future meeting for final approval. GFS also has nearby locations in Wixom, Farmington Hills, Livonia and Canton.

Tilted Kilt, a new pub and eatery that opened Dec. 1 in Novi's Fountain Walk, is the first of its franchise to open in Michigan. The restaurant features 30 draft beers on tap including local beers like Short's Soft Parade, Fat Tire and Magic Hat #9. "It's a great sports viewing atmosphere, great service. Our slogan is: Cold Beer Never Looked So Good," said General Manager Brian Meussner. The female servers, who wear plaid kilts, are a big part of the Tilted Kilt experience and are featured in their own calendar. The road repairs are expected to take a few weeks.
Fountain Walk Drive will close Wednesday for construction that is expected to last 2-3 weeks. The road will be closed between I-96 and Donelson while the work is completed. The detour from Novi Road is westbound on West Oaks Drive South, to southbound Donelson Drive, to westbound Fountain Walk. It is part of the project in the West Oaks and Fountain Walk area that includes the rehabilitation of three roads. The construction on West Oaks Drive and South Karevich Drive is mostly complete, and the roads are open to traffic. According to Novi Director of Public Services/City Engineer Rob Hayes, the $524,000 project is being funded by the City’s Major and Local Street Funds.

The building will include room for eight new businesses to move in to the Novi area.
A new 60,000 square foot retail building will soon be constructed in Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk in Novi. The Novi City Council approved the preliminary site plan for the building at its meeting Monday night. The 57,793 square foot retail building will include the following: Approximately 224 parking spaces will also be added to the development.
