Northville and Novi high schools' girls soccer teams ended their Tuesday night match-up in a 0-0 tie. Here's a recap from Northville girls coach Eric Brucker: In physical and hard fought rivalry game, the defenses stood tall for 0-0 tie, Brucker said. Novi put two off the cross bar in the first half. One on a shot from 25 yards out, another after a corner kick scrum. Novi controled the first half with a lot of possession but at the end of the first half Corner were even (2); shots were even (2); score was even 0-0. Northville opened up the second half with several near misses as they started to hit the iron. Mallory Weber and Jamie Cheslik both got behind the defense a couple of times with Weber grazing the outside of the left post. …
